Smith Rocks

On Canadian Thanksgiving of 2018 my family was doing something quite different than most. On the Thursday night before the weekend we drive across the US border in our truck and camper. Mt. Rainier

For my last training trip for Mt. Logan I knew I would be going to Mt. Rainier. Mt. Rainier is the tallest point in the state of Washington, it is also considered an active volcano. In the weeks leading up to the trip my dad and I were planning on also attempting to summit Mt. Baker in a day. A year ago we had summited the Washington peak on a two day trip.
