First Real Ski of the Season
Today I went skiing again. This time it was more than a few okay turns. My dad and I went up a forest service road on truck and snowmobile until we hit the microwave tower. The sun was out and it made me smile, all the rain in Pemberton has made my mood plummet. Being surrounded by white again was amazing. We brought my chocolate lab and she was almost as excited as me. First Ski of the Season
Yesterday, October 30, 2016, I went skiing. I’m so excited that I got the chance to ski this early in the season. My family, (my dad, my mom, my younger sister and me) set out in the morning. We drove from our house, up the Duffy lake road and to the Joffre Lakes parking lot. We hiked up to the third lake with our skis on the side of our bags and our ski boots inside them.
